Sunday School
Our church offers many options for you and your family on Sunday morning. We have nursery provided for birth – 4 years during the worship services and under 2 years during Sunday school. We offer Sunday school for children ages 2- high school.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday school meets at 9:50 A.M. in various locations around the church. Call the education office if you need help deciding on a class, or just visit! You are always welcome in any of our classes! They include:
Praise Ladies Bible Study- Fellowship Hall Led by Kathy Thannisch , medium size, contemporary issues discussion, for ladies at any stage in life.
Men’s Bible Study- Youth & Worship Center, S103 , led by John Thannisch & Chris Caraway, Medium class, discussion led, curriculum focused on spiritual growth in men for all ages.
Explorers- Adult wing A104, led by Kim & Cindy Kadlec, couples 40′s and up, contemporary issues, small group
Open Door- Adult wing A107, led by Charles & Beverly Kent, couples & singles 30′s and up, Bible Studies, medium group
Second Mile- Adult wing A104, has multiple teachers, couples & singles 40′s and up, Adult Bible Studies curriculum, medium group
Crossroads- Adult wing A102, led by Susie Shockley, 50′s and up, contemporary issues, small group.
Musselwhite- Adult wing A101, Led by Ann Wood, couples & singles 50′s and up, Adult Bible Studies curriculum, large group
Fellowship- Primary wing P107, has multiple teachers, couples & singles 60′s and up, Adult Bible Studies curriculum, large group
Parables of Jesus- Youth & Worship Center S203, 2nd floor, open to all ages, class led Bible study.
Foundations- CLC classroom CLC103 Led by Steve and Joy Killam. Discussion led for couples with small children
Young Adults- Youth worship center. Discussion led, 18-25
LIBRARY INFORMATION:
The FUMC Library is one of the finest in our conference, with something for everyone. Our religion and devotional section has been expanded dramatically, with such additions as the complete works of the “Interpreter’s Bible” and two complete sets of Barclay’s Commentaries. There are books on tape, videos, CD’s, DVD’s and various audio, video and projection equipment.
Our library is currently open every Sunday morning. If you would like to check out books any other time, just go to Carolee’s office and she will be glad to let you in.
